My dear parents and my dearest children Five years of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in the Middle East. Looking back, we the members of Bhavan across the Globe are really proud to have in the Middle East, the best team of parents, matured and seasoned Principals, proficient and dedicated Heads of Departments, with a team of nearly 350 filtered and caring teachers to look after more than five thousand enthusiastic, brilliant children in classes KG1 to Grade 12 spread over in four GCC states. In the next two years, we are planning to expand to another two GCC states, i.e. Sultanate of Oman and Saudi Arabia. The first Bhavan’s school in the Middle East, Indian Educational School, opened the doors for its first batch of children, 111 in number, on 4 September 2006 with classes from KG 1 to Grade 8. Bhavan made another history in the Middle East. CBSE inspectors inspected the school on its 14th working day and CBSE approved and affiliated the school to CBSE within 30 working days. We wish to start the Bhavan Kendra in Bahrain.We have already Identified location for the school and started construction of the building. The new school building with 140 class rooms plus 2 library halls, 2 computer labs, 2 Mathematics labs, 2 language labs and 3 science labs is now ready and waiting for final approval from the Government officials for functioning, expected to be by April 2012. In April 2010, Bhavan started its second school in the Middle East, Bhavan’s Public School, in Doha – Qatar under the Chairmanship of Padmashree Shri. C K Menon. The school is having grades from KG1 to Grade 5. In September 2010, Bhavan’s 3rd school in the Middle East, Private International English School, started functioning in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi with 400 children in classes from KG 1 to Grade 4. In April 2011 the school reached its full capacity of 1,260 children. A new building within the same compound is under construction and expected to be completed by March 2012 to accommodate another 1000+ children. We grow with the support and participation from our dear parents. We together share the responsibility to make Bhavan “The best school in the region”. The entire “Bhavan Team” is committed to the responsibility we have taken…. “to mould an excellent generation for tomorrow”. The Bhavan’s teachers are committed to the children for their overall development. Bhavan’s teachers always make a difference… they teach the children how to learn a lesson. Their caring and supportive attitude creates confidence in the children…creates enthusiasm in them to reach where they aspire to be. This is what all of us in Bhavan are aiming at…. Our children to reach the top… where they want to reach… Thank you very much – my dear parents and children for your trust and confidence you have placed in Bhavans.
