IES reaps an abundant and uninterrupted harvest of 100%
What we plant in the soil of contemplation, we shall reap in the harvest of action. Indian Educational School (Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan), Kuwait since the day of inception has held this faith fast to heart and has contemplated achieving a categorical success in every field of their endeavor. AISSCE 2012 results have become yet another touchstone to testify the quality and quantity of the effort they put in to provide the best system of schooling in Kuwait.
There were 41 students in the second batch of class 12 – 27 in the Science Stream and 14 in Commerce. All 19 girls and 22 boys who appeared for the examination made their alma mater and their near and dear ones proud with their stellar performance in the AISSCE 2012. When TENNETI VENKATA JAYA DIVYA topped in the Science Batch with her awesome 94%, we have FAWAZ MOHAMMED on top in the Commerce batch with a stupendous 95.6%. DILRASH FATHIMA ADOOR (93.8%) is in the Second Rank and ANIRUDH AJAY AGARWAL (93.2%) and RON GEORGE PHILIP (93.2%) shared the Third Rank in the Science Stream. SONAL ANANT MASHANKAR (95%) and ANJANA KRISHNA MOHAN (94.2%) are the Second and Third Rank holders in the Commerce Stream. Anirudh Agarwal scored a centum in Mathematics proving his outstanding caliber. The highlight of the result is that all the 41 students are placed in first class with a score above 60%.
The fact that our one time Head Boy Fawaz Mohammed who adorned himself with the first rank in the Commerce Stream that too with the topmost aggregate of 95.6% made it possible without any tuition for even a single hour adds colour to the harvest we reaped. Above all this he was the school basketball captain, member of Al Yermuk Sports Club, Kuwait and was into all co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Still he could bring this laurel is an eye-opening revelation to the whole student generation who have made themselves tuition maniac and worry themselves about time constraint and other constrictions.
52% of students got above 90% in English and 48 below 90- 73 being the lowest. There are 45 percent students with scores above 95% in Mathematics. 30% of students made it above 90 in Physics whereas the figures are 33 in Chemistry and 44 in Biology. All students in Computer Science scored above 70%. Commerce Stream also made us proud with 64% of students scoring above 90 in Business Studies, 36% in Accountancy, 50% in Economics and another 50% in Informatics.
Belief in oneself is one of the most important bricks in building any successful venture. Kudos to those proud Bhavanites who put their heart and soul to augment the self esteem of their school. You raised the bar of success higher. This has made the school more confident about their strategy and pedagogy. This has made the school more confident about continuing with their unique principle of teacher student ratio. “We are more than overwhelmed with excitement and contentment. This is nothing but the sweet fruits of our joint effort.” said Mr T Premkumar, the school principal. Prayers go up and blessings come down. “The magnitude of this Exam Results reiterates the unquestionable steadfastness of the plan of action of my teachers and spotless perseverance of my dear students,” remarked Mr. Ramachandran Menon, Chairman Bhavan Group of Middle East School. He congratulated the Principal, Heads of Departments, and the members of each faculty on their exemplary commitment and teamwork.
