Physical Education Department
At Indian Educational School (IES), Kuwait, we believe that physical education is more than just a subject — it’s a way of life. Our Physical Education Department plays a key role in helping students from Grades 1 to 12 stay active, confident, and healthy while learning the values of discipline, teamwork, and leadership.
Our carefully designed program supports the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of every child through age-appropriate activities, fun challenges, and exciting opportunities to compete and grow.
- Grades KG–2: Young learners build balance and movement skills through playful games that develop coordination and confidence.
- Grades 3–4: Students enhance their coordination and thinking skills while exploring the basics of popular sports.
- Grades 5–6: Fitness tests and skill-building activities help students discover their strengths in speed, strength, agility, and endurance — guiding them toward the sports that suit them best.
- Grades 7–8: The focus shifts to advanced techniques, teamwork, and self-discipline as students refine their athletic abilities.
- Grades 9–12: Senior students dive deeper into the science of sports and fitness, learning about leadership, self-control, and the commitment it takes to achieve excellence.
IES students participate enthusiastically in Inter-House, Inter-School, and CBSE Cluster Competitions, proudly representing the school and winning honors at national and international levels.
Through the Bhavans Sports Academy, students receive expert coaching in basketball, football, volleyball, badminton, cricket, athletics, swimming, and chess. This specialized training helps talented athletes push their limits and reach new heights in performance.
At IES, we take pride in shaping students who are not only fit and strong, but also confident, disciplined, and ready to take on any challenge — on and off the field.
